Job summary

FloQast is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Accountant to drive adoption and deployment of Transform AI Agents across enterprise customers. You will deploy AI solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure measurable ROI through automation.

As a founding FDA cohort member, you will help define the blueprint for scaling Transform adoption, collaborate with CFOs and Controllers, and lead hands-on implementations at client sites while maintaining strong governance and customer success

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting, auditing, controllership, or finance consulting with leadership roles.
• CPA preferred or equivalent corporate accounting leadership experience.
• Proven ability to design and deploy automation in accounting/finance environments.
• Strong SQL, API, and data flow knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot across integrations and data pipelines.
• Experience leading working sessions with Controllers/Finance teams.
• Collaborative, cross-functional working with Product, Engineering, Sales, and CS.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and lead adoption workshops.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operationalize AI Agents to automate accounting processes.
• Lead transformation engagements with enterprise accounting teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Drive adoption by engaging CFOs and Controllers and guiding workflow redesign.
• Troubleshoot with Python scripts, SQL queries, and integrations.
• Escalate and resolve complex integration and automation issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to recover at-risk accounts.
• Influence product direction with insights to Transform roadmap.
• Provide leadership for implementation partners to ensure quality and methodology.
• Travel up to 60% for hands-on deployment and workshops.
• Act as trusted advisor educating customers on AI-enabled accounting transformation.
