Job summary

Deckers Brands in the United States is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Engineering to lead the enterprise AI platform and govern access to foundation models. You will drive production deployment of AI applications and implement responsible AI controls in a fast-paced, global environment.

You’ll mentor AI engineers, partner with security, privacy, and ML teams, and translate business priorities into a sequenced delivery roadmap while shaping the future of Deckers’ digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–12 years building production software/data/ML systems; 3–5+ years leading cloud-native teams.
• 3+ years delivering production AI/ML systems, incl. generative AI or LLM apps.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise AI platform governance, including model access, orchestration, and cost controls.
• Lead evaluation frameworks and production readiness for AI systems and apps.
• Drive production deployment of AI solutions across customer-facing and internal use cases.
• Mentor AI engineers and collaborate with security, privacy, and enterprise teams.
