Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager of AI Engineering to establish and lead enterprise AI capabilities, combining hands-on AI expertise with leadership to scale secure, compliant AI platforms. You will set standards, drive architectural decisions, and partner with executives to translate strategic opportunities into measurable outcomes.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, guide cloud-native AI solutions, and ensure governance, security, and responsible AI across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering or AI engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams or architecture initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering production AI solutions on AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of AI and software engineers.
• Establish the technical vision, engineering standards, and architectural roadmap for enterprise AI platforms.
• Serve as the senior technical leader for AI initiatives, providing architectural guidance and driving key engineering decisions.
• Lead end-to-end solution delivery across the software development lifecycle for AI platforms.
• Ensure Responsible AI, security, governance, and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps and priorities.
