Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in California to join our Reinvention Deployment Engineering pods. You will embed with enterprise teams to translate AI platform capabilities into real, measurable business value and to drive time-to-value, adoption, reliability, and scale.

This production-focused role requires deep cloud-native engineering, hands-on agentic AI work, and the ability to lead workshops with C-suite stakeholders while delivering concrete outcomes in complex,

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless).
• 10+ years designing and deploying agentic solutions in production.
• 2+ years AI platforms experience (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) incl. multi-provider pipelines.
• 10+ years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent; familiarity with tooling, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• 10+ years deploying to production — CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm), monitoring, debugging.
• 10+ years in client communication, leading technical workshops amid ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or 12+ years work experience; AI certs or agentic tool experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across complex multi-stakeholder client environments.
• Own program-level delivery outcomes: time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, and scalability across multiple workstreams.
• Lead rapid experimentation to turn ambiguous problems into working production systems in days or weeks.
• Architect and govern enterprise AI solutions across the full tech stack and integration at program scale.
• Shape AI reinvention strategy for client leadership including ROI backlogs and roadmaps.
• Define and publish reusable reinvention blueprints and accelerators for multiple client engagements.
• Lead architecture design sessions, executive workshops, and code-with sessions with client teams.
• Codify delivery learnings and engineering standards across the FDE practice.
