Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an AI Engineering & Delivery lead to architect and deploy production AI apps across Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and enterprise copilots.

You will ensure secure, scalable models from edge to cloud, integrating with infrastructure and security teams in highly regulated environments. You will optimize inference, manage model endpoints, and implement MLOps, with emphasis on GCC High, Azure Government, and multi‑cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS, Data Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 5–7 years in enterprise software or systems engineering with cloud‑scale AI focus.
• 3–5 years building AI/ML solutions including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of systems built on foundation models across edge to cloud.
• Engineer agentic AI systems and tool‑use pipelines with model context protocols.
• Develop RAG architectures using Azure AI Search and vector stores.
• Orchestrate model endpoints across local, hybrid, and cloud backends.
• Design backend‑agnostic architectures enabling model swapping by data sensitivity and latency.
• Implement MLOps/LLMOps practices including evaluation harnesses and telemetry.
