Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an AI Solution Architect to lead design and integration of AI/ML services on the Mission Planning Enterprise platform in Massachusetts.

The role focuses on using AI/ML to improve productivity, code and system assurance, and analytics for DoD clients. Applicants should have 7+ years of AI/ML solution experience, strong security governance knowledge, and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 7+ years architecting AI/ML-enabled solutions; 3+ years in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and IVV&E workflows with AI/ML.
• Experience architecting AI services on modern platforms and DevSecOps integration.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and assurance for AI including data protection.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Make AI/ML services available on the platform to boost productivity and analytics.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and govern secure, explainable deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, IVV&E, and platform ops on AI-enabled capabilities.
• Shape the AI roadmap aligned to SOW-driven integration and cybersecurity needs.
