Premera Blue Cross is seeking an AI Engineer IV to lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive the deployment of scalable AI systems from conception to production.

You will design data pipelines, implement cloud architectures, and develop low-latency APIs, while guiding governance and best practices across the AI team. This role is remote, nationwide, and emphasizes collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or 2+ years in IT/analytics.
• Minimum of 5 years in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML systems; up to 2 years may be substituted with AI-focused Master's/PhD or AI certs.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and develop comprehensive AI systems and frameworks.
• Lead prototypes and MVPs to validate AI/ML solutions.
• Design and implement cloud architecture for large AI systems.
• Develop robust data pipelines for AI systems.
• Create low-latency APIs/services to deploy AI models.
