Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking an AI Engineer IV to lead development of AI/ML solutions from conception to production in a remote setting. You will guide solutioning, mentor junior engineers, and drive governance and best practices across teams.

You will design scalable data pipelines, build low-latency APIs, and stay on the cutting edge of AI technologies while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in IT/analytics.
5+ years building AI/ML systems and deployment.
Experience with deep learning models (CNNs, transformers, GANs, LSTMs, NODEs).
Experience with ethical AI, explainability, fairness, bias mitigation.

Responsibilities

Recommend and develop AI frameworks for applications and products.
Lead prototypes and MVPs to validate AI/ML solutions.
Design cloud architecture for large AI systems.
Build robust data pipelines for AI systems.
Develop low-latency APIs to deploy AI models.
Monitor AI systems for reliable performance.
Mentor AI engineers and promote best practices.
