Job summary

Premera Blue Cross in the United States seeks an AI Engineer IV to lead deployment of AI/ML solutions across complex business problems. You will guide solutioning, mentor engineers, and shape AI governance and data strategy while advancing scalable AI infrastructure in a remote setting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, prototype MVPs, and design low-latency APIs and data pipelines, delivering reliable, production-ready AI systems within an Agile-like environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML system development and deployment experience.
• Experience with ethical AI, explainable AI, fairness, bias mitigation (≥3 years).
• 3+ years implementing advanced prompting techniques like Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• 4+ years productionizing AI models with scalable data pipelines and monitoring.
• 5+ years in Agile-like teams.
