Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Lead Software Engineer IV to shape the AI-enabled healthcare platform. This full-time role can be remote nationwide or hybrid in Chicago, IL, working with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS, and AI-powered workflows to deliver RCM solutions used nationwide.

You will lead technically, mentor engineers, and partner with users to drive architecture and product direction while maintaining strong ownership and work-life flexibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical direction and mentoring teams.
• Strong development skills with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Full-stack application development experience.
• API design and development experience.
• Event-driven architecture experience.
• SQL skills and database design/optimization.
• Experience with ORMs and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Product-focused engineering mindset and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience leveraging AI in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering with a focus on Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Architectural leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
