Job summary
Motion Recruitment is seeking a Staff/Lead Software Engineer to help launch an AI-enabled platform focused on revenue cycle management, claims workflows, and healthcare operations. This is a hybrid full-time opportunity with remote flexibility available for professionals located in the Chicago area.
The ideal candidate will own outcomes, partner with users and business stakeholders, and influence product strategy and technical direction.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience leading architecture and technical direction.
- Strong Python development experience.
- JavaScript and/or TypeScript expertise.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems; event-driven architecture.
- Strong database design and SQL skills.
- AWS cloud platform experience.
- Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and product teams.
- Strong communication and mentorship capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical direction for the platform.
- Hands-on backend development with Python.
- Develop frontend components using React/TypeScript.
- Implement AWS Cloud and event-driven services.
- Integrate AI workflows and agent orchestration.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams.
- Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions.
