Job summary

SoftPathTechnologies is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI models and systems. The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with 7+ years in AI/ML, and will work onsite 5 days? per week across Plano, NY/NJ, or Columbus locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 7+ years in AI/ML in production.
• Proficiency in Python and modern frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain).
• Experience with Generative AI paradigms (RAG, LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, vector databases).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong REST API and SQL/NoSQL database design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale ML, DL, and Generative AI solutions for production environments.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines and feature workflows for model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Deploy AI models to high-availability cloud infrastructure and implement CI/CD for monitoring and retraining.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software architects to integrate AI into enterprise software.
• Optimize inference speed, latency, and resource usage for complex AI systems.
