Job summary

PathAI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (MLOps) to design, build, and scale ML infrastructure powering enterprise AI systems. You’ll architect AWS and on-prem solutions, drive MLOps tool choices, and mentor engineers to raise coding standards.

You will collaborate with ML researchers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient ML workflows with automated deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade frameworks or applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code (Helm, Terraform).
• Experience owning development platforms and serving internal customers.
• Proficiency in Python with exposure to additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build infrastructure and automation in AWS and on-premises for ML app development and deployment.
• Lead architectural discussions for the MLOps suite ensuring performance, security and compliance.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new MLOps tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, product engineering and infra teams to bridge research and production.
• Optimize ML workflows for reproducible deployment and monitoring.
• Champion engineering excellence through coding standards, reviews, and mentoring.
• Automate ML operations including CI/CD for ML models and feature pipelines.
