Inspira Financial is looking for a Sr. AI Software Engineer to join the AI Center of Excellence. You will embed with business teams across Health & Benefits, Retirement & Wealth, operations, and engineering to identify AI opportunities, build production agents, and measure ROI.

You will design multi-tier agent systems, govern deployments, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while translating business needs into actionable AI outcomes. Occasional outside-hours work may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• AI continuous learning certifications are a plus.
• 3-6 years of software engineering experience shipping and supporting production systems.
• 2+ years building AI solutions across assistants, agents, workflow automation, retrieval, and document processing.

Responsabilidades

• Embed with business teams to identify work that is repetitive, automatable, or bottlenecked.
• Translate business needs into a written solution statement, success criteria, data requirements, and a recommended AI approach.
• Build working prototypes to validate feasibility before committing to full builds.
• Scope opportunities to determine single-purpose agents, automated workflows, or multi-tier systems.
• Build production agents and automations on enterprise platforms, including frameworks and low-code tools.
• Design multi-tier agent systems with orchestration and human handoffs.
• Integrate with business systems via approved connectors and MCP servers.
• Hand off completed builds with runbooks and documented ownership.
• Baseline process performance and measure ROI for each deployment.
• Instrument telemetry to monitor value continuously and report outcomes truthfully.
• Apply ISO/IEC 42001 governance and data security controls.
• Define governance, security, and compliance telemetry for each agent.
• Build monitoring and alerting to surface drift and spend.
• Operate within AI governance committees and acceptable-use policies.
• Transmit business needs and tooling gaps to the AI Center of Excellence.
• Convert repeat builds into reusable templates and starter kits.
• Run enablement sessions and labs to raise AI fluency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
