Job summary

Worth AI, a leading AI onboarding and underwriting platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI Innovation to architect and ship production agent systems for high-stakes financial data. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from agent graphs to tool layers, with strong focus on evals, observability, and security.

You will collaborate with the Chief AI Officer, applied scientists, product, and platform teams to translate complex signals into customer outcomes, ensuring reliable, compliant AI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years building production LLM or agentic systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, ArgoCD, operators.
• Strong Python proficiency; comfortable with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Mentoring experience and ownership of major features.
• Experience with evals, guardrails, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship multi-step agentic systems for KYB, underwriting, and risk monitoring.
• Architect agent graphs with explicit state and safe fallbacks.
• Build retrieval layer with chunking, hybrid search, and grounded citations.
• Own the eval stack with golden sets, offline/online evaluations, and red-teaming.
• Wire agents into production services; treat tool surfaces as products.
• Lead production MLOps: deployment, versioning, latency, cost, observability.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to meet SOC 2/GDPR/CCPA standards.
• Translate product bets into concrete agent designs and shipped features.
• Mentor engineers on agent patterns and eval discipline.
• Stay ahead with new models/frameworks and bring proven ideas to production.
