Job summary

TIFIN in Boulder, CO is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the architecture of its AI agents. You will design multi-agent workflows, build evaluation systems with grounding and citations, and ensure every number is sourced.

You’ll collaborate with product and client-facing teams to ship reliable, safe, scalable AI for wealth management. The role emphasizes Python and AI-native development, with hands-on work on LangGraph, LangSmith, and open-weight model tooling.

Qualifications

• Shipped agentic AI to real users in production environments.
• Experience designing orchestration, state, and checkpointing systems.
• Proficiency with Python and AI-native development tools.
• Familiarity with evaluation, tracing, and grounded outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-agent system at the core of the product, designing production workflows with agent coordination and tool calls.
• Build the quality/evaluation engine with tests, logs, and a governance score.
• Develop a retrieval system to ground answers with citations and source tracking.
• Create a context layer to manage agent knowledge while improving security and latency.
