Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer to join the Finance AI team. You will design, build, evaluate, and operate AI-powered applications and agents that Finance runs on, directing a fleet of coding agents and leveraging NVIDIA Nemotron models for finance use cases.

You will mentor engineers, set architecture, and explore cutting-edge retrieval techniques and tooling, staying ahead of the frontier of applied AI.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
12+ years building and operating production systems including 3+ years with LLM/agent systems.
Track record as a core technical contributor shipping multiple LLM-powered applications or agents in production.
Hands-on experience with skill-based workflows, harnesses, agent orchestration frameworks.
Expertise with advanced retrieval techniques plus observability for LLM systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and own agentic systems end to end—from scoping with finance partners to eval harness, retrieval quality, and cost.
Set architecture, primitives, patterns, and quality bars; mentor engineers and represent AI engineering to Finance and NVIDIA leadership.
Stay at the frontier of applied AI: test new models, agent frameworks, retrieval techniques, and tooling as they emerge.
Run hands-on experiments and turn learnings into build/no-build decisions.
Partner with the model team to leverage and post-train NVIDIA's Nemotron models for finance use cases.
