Job summary

TIFIN is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the architecture of our AI agents. You'll design multi-agent workflows that answer real financial questions, build the evaluation system to prove quality, and ensure every number is traceable to a source.

You’ll have autonomy to shape tooling, improve security and latency, and collaborate with product and client-facing teams to deliver trusted, scalable AI solutions for wealth management.

Qualifications

• Shipped agentic AI to real users and built orchestration, state, and streaming—beyond prompts and notebooks.
• Experience building evaluation systems: benchmarks, scoring, offline/online evaluations, and A/B tests.
• Deep ML depth: fine-tuning or distillation of LLMs with trade-offs between accuracy and latency.
• Knowledge of trust, RAG, grounding, citations, and data provenance in production AI.

Responsibilities

• The multi-agent system at the heart of the product: design and production workflows where planners and agents coordinate, call tools, stream responses, pause for human input, and recover from checkpoints.
• The quality engine that proves it works: create evaluation systems, including CI/regression gates and a published quality score.
• A retrieval system clients can trust: turn complex documents into grounded, cited answers using hybrid search, reranking, and chunking with traceable evidence.
• A personalized agent that is fast, safe, and reliable: build the context layer with security, latency, and cost controls.
