Job summary

The Phoenix Group Advisors in Houston, TX seeks an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development and adoption of AI solutions for a premier litigation practice. You will shape the firm’s AI strategy, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency while upholding confidentiality and security standards.

Responsibilities include managing AI platforms, designing AI-assisted workflows, and driving training and change management across legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or JD preferred.
• Minimum five years in legal technology, AI implementation, or related fields.
• Experience with Am Law 50/100 or equivalent environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AI platforms, legal workflows, and enterprise technology systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert and system administrator for AI platforms and related tools.
• Develop and prioritize high-impact AI use cases aligned with strategic goals.
• Design, develop, and document AI workflows, prompts, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with attorneys to refine AI-assisted workflows and scale implementations.
• Deliver training sessions and educational resources for responsible AI use.
• Lead change-management initiatives to foster innovation and compliance with firm policies.
• Monitor AI platform performance and prepare executive reports.
• Manage relationships with AI vendors and coordinate updates.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
