The Phoenix Group Advisors seeks a Junior AI Specialist to help evaluate, test, and deploy generative AI solutions across legal and business functions. You will support AI pilots, test prompts, document workflows, and drive user adoption within a dynamic corporate environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, developing prompts, organizing pilot tests, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Legal Studies, Data, Communications, Technology).
  • Foundational experience with generative AI tools, prompt creation, workflow documentation, and supporting technology-enabled projects.
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms, document management, or data handling systems; experience with legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or content management systems like iManage is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency with productivity software and AI platforms; ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Clear and organized written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain AI concepts and document findings professionally.

Job description

The Junior AI Specialist will assist in evaluating, testing, and deploying generative AI solutions across various legal and business functions. This role provides critical support for AI pilots, prompt testing, workflow documentation, and user adoption, contributing to innovative legal technology initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe, document, and analyze legal and business workflows to identify opportunities for AI integration and support process automation initiatives.
  • Develop, test, and refine prompts for common legal and operational use cases, incorporating feedback to improve clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Assist in executing pilot programs for approved AI and legal technology platforms, including organizing test cases, recording results, and escalating issues to senior team members.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompts, testing outcomes, limitations, and use cases to support consistent AI workflows.
  • Collaborate on the development of lightweight AI applications and workflow automation tools, supporting use-case development in contract review, legal research, matter intake, billing, document management, and compliance tracking.
  • Support the design and implementation of legal and back-office applications through low-code/no-code platforms, escalating technical or security concerns as needed.
  • Aid in project planning by preparing schedules, meeting notes, status updates, and tracking pilot progress in coordination with legal and technical teams.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for end-users seeking AI support, delivering training, creating user guides, FAQs, and facilitating firm-wide AI adoption initiatives.
  • Organize and support firm-wide AI events, including logistics, content development, participant tracking, and follow-up.
  • Manage AI content databases, ensuring content accuracy, content curation, permissions, and troubleshooting within content management systems.
Core Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Legal Studies, Data, Communications, Technology); 1-2 years of post-college experience preferred.
  • Foundational experience with generative AI tools, prompt creation, workflow documentation, and supporting technology-enabled projects.
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms, document management, or data handling systems; experience with legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or content management systems like iManage is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency with productivity software and AI platforms; ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Clear and organized written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain AI concepts and document findings professionally.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly and maintain confidentiality within legal and professional services environments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience working in a legal, professional services, or highly confidential business environment.
  • Knowledge of legal workflows, knowledge management, and legal content organization.
  • Prior experience supporting training, change management, or technical documentation.
