Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior AI Engineering Developer to own the technical delivery of enterprise AI solutions. You will lead design, development, and deployment of production AI systems on Azure and .NET/Python stacks, defining standards, mentoring engineers, and partnering with business units to ship governed AI products in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with teams to implement responsible AI controls, ensure security, scalability, and data residency, and drive reliable,

Qualifications

7+ years in software engineering with production GenAI/LLM delivery.
Hands-on with Microsoft Foundry and Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Search.
Strong C#/.NET and Python coding ability.
Experience delivering RAG architectures and agent orchestration.
Designing secure REST APIs and event-driven integrations.

Responsibilities

Translate business problems into technical AI solutions with a clear delivery path.
Architect end-to-end GenAI/agentic systems with governance and security.
Lead hands-on delivery of production code and CI/CD pipelines.
Set engineering standards for agent development, testing, and observability.
Mentor engineers and lead design reviews across multiple initiatives.
Deliver AI capabilities into internal apps, Teams, and Copilot integrations.
