Job summary

Gallagher seeks a Senior AI Engineering Developer to own end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI solutions on Azure and the .NET/Python stack. You will design, build, and deploy GenAI systems, including RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, and Copilot integrations, while mentoring engineers and ensuring governance in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with production GenAI/LLM delivery and 2+ years leading engineers
• Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, and Azure compute
• Strong .NET/C# plus Python; able to review and contribute in both
• Proven delivery of RAG architectures, agent orchestration, and prompt/evaluation pipelines
• Designing secure REST APIs and event-driven integrations within an enterprise identity model (Entra ID, RBAC)
• Delivery discipline: Agile with Azure DevOps, backlogs, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management
• Leadership: mentoring engineers, design reviews, and owning technical decisions across multiple initiatives

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into technical solutions and shape them into buildable AI solutions with clear delivery paths
• Own AI solution architecture across Azure Foundry ecosystem to meet security, scalability, and data residency needs
• Lead hands-on delivery: write/review production code in C#/Python for RAG pipelines and AI orchestration
• Set engineering standards for agentic development, testing, and CI/CD to ensure maintainability
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and pairing to raise technical bar
• Deliver AI capabilities into internal apps, Microsoft Teams, and M365 Copilot via Foundry agents and cloud services
• Build governance into development with Entra ID/RBAC, IaC policies, and auditability
• Drive evaluation and reliability with measurable quality bars and evaluation harnesses
