Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Frisco, TX, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AI to design, build, and deploy bespoke AI solutions for legal workflows, including contract review and discovery automation. You own end-to-end delivery from design to production.

You will collaborate with AI architects and engineers, implement RAG pipelines, MCP/A2A patterns, and observe high trust standards for enterprise use in a client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with system design and distributed architectures.
• At least 2 years building and deploying AI/ML in production, including LLM-powered apps.
• Proficiency in Python and building RESTful/async architectures.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and RAG architectures.
• Experience with MCP and A2A workflow patterns for interoperable AI systems.
• Strong security and authentication knowledge (OAuth2/OpenID Connect).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions for law firm workflows (contract review, discovery automation, regulatory analysis).
• Architect scalable, secure AI systems within established frameworks; build multi-step agentic workflows.
• Develop A2A and MCP integrations to enable interoperability with external tools and data sources.
