Job summary

Thomson Reuters CoCounsel Forward Deployed Engineering seeks a Senior Software Engineer – AI to design, build, and deploy bespoke AI solutions for law firms and corporate legal departments. You will own end-to-end delivery from discovery to production.

You will work with AI architects and engineers on RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, MCP, and integrated tools, ensuring secure, scalable systems that meet high-trust standards for legal professionals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with system design and clean architecture.
• At least 2 years building and deploying AI/ML in production.
• Experience with MCP and A2A workflows for interoperable AI systems.
• Strong Python and RESTful/async architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions for law firms and corporate legal workflows.
• Build scalable, secure AI systems within architectural frameworks.
• Architect RAG pipelines, AI agents, and enterprise integrations.
• Develop MLOps/LLMOps for production deployment.
• Participate in client engagements and translate legal workflows into engineering tasks.
