Prologis is seeking a Senior AI Applied Engineer to explore and scale enterprise AI patterns across the organization. You will design hypothesis-driven pilots, evaluate results, and translate learnings into scalable reference architectures in collaboration with the AI Platform and Central AI teams.

Responsibilities include advancing AI capabilities, building robust pilots with measurable outcomes, and delivering demos that connect technical findings to business impact.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-quality systems.
• Expert Python skills (clean architecture, testing, packaging, performance).
• Strong AWS architecture and development experience (security/IAM, networking, serverless/containers).
• Data modeling, APIs/integration patterns; includes RAG and text-to-SQL patterns.
• Experience with agentic systems and reliability/evaluation techniques.
• Hands-on experience interpreting LLM evaluations (faithfulness, hallucination analysis).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with modern LLM stacks and portability considerations.

Aufgaben

• Drive AI innovation and rapid experimentation to advance Prologis capabilities.
• Design and execute timeboxed pilots with clear hypotheses and metrics.
• Evolve enterprise AI patterns (RAG, text-to-SQL, observability) and guardrails.
• Build reference implementations and handoff docs with the Central AI team.
• Develop within AWS with secure, observable architectures and strong software practices.
• Communicate results through demos and concise readouts linking tech to business value.
• Support priority projects with de-risking and acceleration objectives.
• Synthesize external research and vendor capabilities into actionable recommendations.
