Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead and deliver scalable AI, ML, and agentic solutions on Databricks. You will work with clients and EY teams to shape generative AI use cases, build data pipelines, and deploy production-grade AI capabilities at scale.

You will collaborate with diverse teams across design, build, and operate phases, ensuring responsible engineering, measurable business outcomes, and ongoing learning. A strong foundation in AI, MLOps, and Databricks is essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 3-6 years of full‑time working experience in AI and/or Machine Learning.
• Databricks Certification with a minimum of 1 professional and 1 associate certification.
• Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and/or Scala.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse, hybrid, and global teams.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining high‑impact production AI/ML solutions on a cloud platform (Databricks).
• Two+ years building and deploying production AI/ML solutions on Databricks, including Agent Bricks, Model Serving, or Lakeflow Jobs.
• Proficient in foundation models, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., RAG).
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps and ML workflows on Databricks (MLflow, Unity Catalog).
• Experience with model retraining and feedback loop methodologies on Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement scalable machine learning, generative AI, and agentic systems.
• Build data engineering pipelines and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Evaluate and optimize learning processes with MLflow, tracing, and monitoring.
• Design and govern ontologies and semantic models for AI solutions and data products.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Platform Engineers to sustain solutions.
• Deliver production‑grade AI/ML solutions with robust data pipelines and governance.
