Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead scalable AI, ML, and agentic systems on Databricks, partnering with clients and EY teams to deliver generative AI solutions. You will enhance data pipelines, implement governable ontologies, and ensure robust production readiness across diverse environments.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists, cloud engineers, and platform teams in a hybrid model, travel as needed, and drive the adoption of AI at scale while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year).
• 3–6 years of full-time AI/ML experience.
• Databricks Certification with multiple certs.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and/or Scala skills.
• Ability to collaborate with hybrid/global teams.
• Experience building production AI/ML solutions on Databricks.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps on Databricks.
• Familiarity with MLflow, Unity Catalog, and Model Serving.
• Understanding of data structures, Responsible AI, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Research scalable ML, generative AI, and agentic systems.
• Build data pipelines and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Monitor and optimize learning processes with MLflow tools.
• Design and govern ontologies and semantic models for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and DevOps to deploy solutions.
• Deliver production-grade data and AI pipelines with reliable reuse.
