Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a STEM field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
• 6+ years in data science, data engineering, software engineering, or MLOps
• 6+ years of AI/ML algorithm development and data analysis across NLP, time-series, CV, graphs
• 6+ years in core programming languages and data science packages (Python, Keras, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes)
• 6+ years of traditional ML and deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, GANs)
• 4+ years of experience managing teams on complex projects
• Live within commuting distance to a Deloitte office
• Willingness to travel ~10% on average
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Disclosed salary range reflects factors including skill, experience, and location; current range is $155,600–$306,800.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities and articulate an AI vision
• Lead projects to define technical strategy, roadmap, and prototyping
• Guide clients on AI strategy, EDA, model building, validation, and production deployment
• Oversee AI initiatives from predictive to generative models, ensuring scalability
• Support interdisciplinary team delivery of production and research applications
• Promote best practices for model validation, delivery, testing, and code reviews
• Present findings and deployment considerations to stakeholders (infrastructure, cloud, etc.)
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster professional growth
