Deloitte seeks a Data Science Manager within SFL Scientific to lead technical AI work across healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, and more. Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant STEM field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Math, Physics).
• 6+ years in data science, data engineering, software engineering, or MLOps.
• 6+ years AI/ML algorithm development and data analysis across NLP, time-series, CV, and graphs.
• 6+ years with Python, Keras, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes.
• 6+ years with ML and deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, GANs).
• 4+ years leading teams delivering complex projects.
• Live within commuting distance to Deloitte's consulting offices.
• Travel ~10% on average; limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities and articulate AI vision for clients.
• Serve as technical lead on AI/ML projects: strategy, roadmap, prototyping.
• Guide clients on AI strategy and adoption: EDA, modeling, production deployment.
• Lead AI initiatives across predictive and generative AI; ensure scalable models.
• Support interdisciplinary team to achieve delivery objectives and performance.
• Promote best practices for model validation, deployment, testing, reviews.
• Present findings and deployment options to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster professional development.
• Develop skills to progress into leadership or non-technical roles.
