Job summary

SFL Scientific, a Deloitte Business, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deploy robust AI infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will work with data scientists, ML engineers, and project managers to enable scalable AI/GenAI solutions for diverse industries.

Applicants should have 4+ years in data engineering, ML deployment, and cloud design, with strong programming and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (CS/Engineering/Physics) or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in data engineering, data science, software engineering, or MLOps focused on AI/ML deployment.
• 4+ years designing cloud solutions and hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4+ years programming with Linux Shell/CLI, Python, SQL, PowerShell, etc.
• 2+ years leading technical delivery and multi-task management.
• 2+ years DevOps with Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Airflow, Terraform, Jenkins.
• 2+ years with database development and ETL/ELT (relational, NoSQL, Neo4j).
• 2+ years with deployment/optimization: Kubernetes, Docker, NVIDIA TensorRT/Triton, Kubeflow, MLflow, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy architectures to support ML applications.
• Leverage modern data architecture and cloud solutions for AI use cases.
• Lead scalable data architecture that supports AI/GenAI initiatives.
• Define schemas and data pipelines for diverse data sources.
• Participate in deployment discussions for scale, security, and high availability.
• Adopt best engineering practices in automation and HPC/AI infra.
• Lead proof-of-concepts for new data/cloud tech feasibility.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in data architecture and modernization.
• Mentor junior team members and foster professional growth.
