Job summary

Crexi in Playa Vista, CA, is seeking an AI Engineer to build agentic AI systems powering the CRE platform. You will design multi-step workflows, manage retrieval pipelines, and ensure outputs are trustworthy and explainable for brokers, appraisers, lenders, and investors.

You’ll work with LangGraph/LangChain, Claude/Codex tooling, and AWS Bedrock AgentCore to deploy production-grade AI features, while collaborating with Product and Design to rapidly prototype and scale capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• 2+ years hands-on building LLM-powered applications in production.
• Experience with agentic architectures (multi-step pipelines, tool/call, memory) using orchestration frameworks.
• Strong Python proficiency and backend API experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-step agentic workflows using LangGraph/LangChain.
• Build evaluation frameworks and production monitoring for quality and business outcomes.
• Develop context and retrieval pipelines over Crexi’s data with qualitative queries.
• Work with Anthropic frontier models on AWS Bedrock; evaluate cost and latency.
• Implement guardrails, structured outputs, and explainable AI outputs.
