Job summary

Crexi is building an AI-powered commercial real estate platform, delivering data, marketing, deal management, and bidding tools used by a growing community. The Manager, Software Engineering will lead a team responsible for high-quality product capabilities and scalable architecture.

You will partner with product and design to align roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive engineering standards while expanding capabilities with AI-assisted tooling to boost velocity and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing engineers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, develops, and grows a team of software engineers, owning performance and development.
• Owns the team’s delivery, quality, and operational health, partnering with product and design on roadmap and priorities.
• Provides technical oversight and guidance, ensuring sound architecture, code quality, and engineering standards.
• Drives team planning, execution cadence, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted development tooling across the team to improve quality and velocity.
• Recruits, hires, and onboards engineers, and fosters an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Removes blockers and manages cross-team dependencies to keep delivery on track.
