Job summary

Sharecare is seeking an AI Engineer to lead the transformation toward agentic engineering. You will own architecture across systems, ship daily with AI agents, and define guardrails for patient care automation. Prior healthcare data experience is a plus.

You will collaborate with cloud, data, and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, focusing on governance, security, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field required.
• 4+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI platforms, and NLP tools preferred.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions to support business needs.
• Build and optimize ML models, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation tools.
• Develop and implement generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise workflows and data pipelines.
• Develop data pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Monitor model performance and manage retraining and lifecycle.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and stay updated on AI advances.
• Support AI governance, transparency, and responsible AI practices.
