Sony Interactive Entertainment is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for AI & Agentic Architecture in California. You will design and ship agentic systems, developer tooling, and reusable platform capabilities, collaborating with engineering, security, and product teams to improve productivity across SIE.

You will lead and contribute to MCP integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and evaluation frameworks while mentoring engineers in agentic design patterns and tool usage.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI/LLM-powered or agentic apps.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, and LLMs.
• Experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and make pragmatic engineering decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-quality agentic applications with agentic SDKs/harnesses.
• Design MCP tool/resource interfaces for safe access to backend systems and data.
• Engineer prompts and build evaluation frameworks for output quality.
