Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years designing and building large-scale distributed systems with real-time data.
• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with Scala is beneficial.
• Experience with Flink, Spark Streaming, and OLAP databases at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed data systems for real-time analytics.
• Lead architecture and evolve RTAP's streaming and analytics platforms for scalability.
• Own end-to-end platform capabilities from design to production operations.
• Build and optimize data services using Flink, Spark, ClickHouse, and Druid.
• Partner with Data Engineering to integrate batch and streaming workloads.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities to automate engineering workflows and improve productivity.
• Establish engineering standards for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Infrastructure on long-term strategy.
• Resolve production challenges and participate in on-call rotations.
• Evaluate new technologies and drive scalable platform investments.
