Job summary

AVANGRID MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC. seeks a Senior Manager – AI Engagement & Transformation to lead business engagement and drive AI-enabled process improvements.

You will partner with business, IT, and Data & AI teams to identify high-value use cases, shape adoption roadmaps, and ensure governance and value tracking. You will oversee workshops, design transformation plans, and coordinate with data scientists and OT/IT teams to deliver measurable outcomes and scalable solutions across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with at least 10 years of experience.
• Experience in power and utilities or adjacent heavy-asset industries.
• Proven success delivering cross-functional digital or AI initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Background in business analysis, architecture, operations, or engineering with data/AI project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, grid operations, customer experience, and DERs.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI engagement activities with business units to identify transformation opportunities.
• Translate pain points into AI-enabled use cases, roadmaps, and actionable plans.
• Develop engagement plans, including AI literacy and practical enablement activities.
• Support AI lifecycle from discovery to deployment and adoption tracking.
• Map processes to AI capabilities and embed them into redesigned ways of working.
• Coordinate with data scientists and IT to ensure AI-ready data and governance.
• Embed governance, ethics, and compliance into project lifecycles with risk controls.
• Define KPIs and report progress and value realization to executives.
• Evaluate vendor pricing, SLAs, and lifecycle support with procurement.
