Job summary

AVANGRID Management Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead AI engagement and transformation efforts, partnering with business, IT, and Data & AI teams to define value-driven use cases and adoption roadmaps.

You will shape AI-enabled processes, support AI literacy, oversee governance, and ensure measurable outcomes while coordinating with asset management, grid operations, and customer experience teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least ten years of relevant experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Experience in power and utilities or adjacent heavy-asset industries.
• Proven success delivering cross-functional digital or AI initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Background in business analysis, business architecture, operations, or engineering with practical data/AI delivery familiarity.
• Strong business and domain knowledge including utility assets and operations.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive adoption through change plans.
• Embed governance, ethics, and compliance practices including explainable AI and privacy by design.
• Strong measurement skills with ROI and value realization focus.
• Experience supporting AI/automation from pilot to production with testing and monitoring.
• Excellent communication across executive, business, IT, and quantitative stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead AI engagement activities—workshops to identify and prioritize transformation opportunities.
• Translate opportunities into AI-enabled use cases, roadmaps, and plans.
• Define KPIs and track value realization and ROI for initiatives.
• Coordinate with data scientists and domain stewards for AI-ready data and governance.
• Ensure governance, risk, and vendor compliance across projects.
• Oversee pilot-to-production transitions and ongoing model validation.
• Communicate progress to executives and align stakeholders across functions.
