Job summary

Stord is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer on the AI Enablement team. You will embed with internal users to design and ship agentic AI systems that automate workflows end-to-end, with production-grade reliability from day one.

You will collaborate with CX, Finance, Ops, and Logistics to build AI-powered tooling, automate financial processes, and surface operational intelligence through dashboards and data products.

Qualifications

• TypeScript / Node.js production backend experience.
• Agentic AI development: built AI agents that automate real workflows in production.
• CLI-native workflow: experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar.
• LLM integration with OpenAI, Anthropic or equivalent.
• API design and integration with internal systems.
• Observability: logging, tracing, and monitoring in production.
• Advanced SQL with PostgreSQL.
• High agency and production discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered tooling for internal teams (CX, Finance, Ops, Logistics).
• Develop finance automation, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.
• Create dashboards and data interfaces for operational intelligence.
• Ship end-to-end automation pipelines with proper logging and retries.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on core platform touchpoints.
