Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Systems to bridge Clinical Development Operations with AI-enabled technology teams. The role entails eliciting business knowledge, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and developing scalable AI-enabled capabilities to drive productivity.

You will lead discovery, design, and delivery while ensuring governance, quality, and cross-functional collaboration across clinical technology portfolios. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field; 5 years experience or Master’s Degree with 4 years experience.
• Experience in business systems analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, or business architecture.
• Experience with R&D, document automation, or AI-enabled business processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Excel, SharePoint/Teams, Jira, ServiceNow, UAT tracking, release readiness, backlog management.
• Exposure to generative AI, prompt workflows, knowledge management, AI evaluation, or AI/automation design.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to analyze processes and shape AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead discovery, process optimization, and future-state design translating needs into scalable workflows and improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend technology, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities for efficiency and governance.
• Drive solution delivery through change management, testing, release readiness, documentation, and training.
• Provide oversight of system performance, roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and AI adoption opportunities.
