PlusAI is seeking a Senior Simulation Software Engineer to build and scale the simulation infrastructure powering our autonomous trucks. Qualifications

• MS with 3+ years of relevant experience or PhD new grad.
• Experience building LLM-powered workflows for data analysis, evaluation, or automation.
• Proficient in Python or C++, with experience building scalable data processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agentic workflows that analyze simulation results and surface root causes.
• Architect and build scalable simulation pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
• Quantify and reduce sim-to-real divergence across sensor models, actor behavior, and dynamics.
• Monitor and improve platform performance, scalability, testing, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to reproduce and resolve issues from road tests.
• Contribute to long-term system architecture and customer-aligned quality.
