Job summary

The role focuses on defining quantitative safety metrics, building simulation test suites, diagnosing failures, and automating test pipelines with Python. A CS/Robotics/EE/Math/Stats background is required.

Qualifications

• AV stack architecture knowledge and associated failure modes.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SIL/HIL simulation platforms.
• Define and evaluate kinematic and spatial metrics using statistics across large datasets.
• Strong Python scripting for data processing and test automation.
• Experience with automated build/test pipelines and visualization tools like Grafana or dashboards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Define, formalize, and implement quantitative safety and comfort metrics for AV modules.
• Build and maintain simulation test suites to stress-test software releases.
• Analyze simulation outputs to isolate regressions and root causes.
• Write Python scripts to automate test execution and data reporting.
• Integrate regression suites into CI pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for daily builds.
• Establish reproducible testing practices with strict artifact hygiene.
