Headquartered in Silicon Valley with operations in the United States and Europe, PlusAI aims to accelerate the deployment of next-generation autonomous trucks. We seek an Engineering Manager for Simulation and Verification to lead the development of our autonomous driving simulation platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Experience in autonomous driving or robotics simulation.
• Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL.
• Frontend experience with React and Vite.
• Cloud and containers: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• Ability to build data pipelines for high-volume simulation data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Simulation & Verification platform development and scaling.
• Grow and mentor a team of engineers and verification specialists.
• Oversee high-fidelity sensor simulation and synthetic scenarios.
• Collaborate with Planning, Perception, Control, and Safety teams.
• Optimize CI/CD workflows and resource allocation for testing.
• Establish quality metrics and benchmarking for simulation outputs.
