Job summary

Jumio is seeking an experienced QA automation engineer in Palo Alto to accelerate engineering with AI-assisted test authoring and scalable data. You will translate requirements into automated tests and maintain high quality across microservices.

Required: strong Java (Spring Boot) or JavaScript/TypeScript automation, Playwright or Selenium, REST API testing, AWS with ECS/EKS/Lambda, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and a leadership mindset for fast-moving teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Java (Spring Boot) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript automation experience.
• Hands-on web automation with Playwright or Selenium at production scale.
• Experience testing microservices, REST APIs, and message queues (SNS/SQS, Kafka).
• CI/CD knowledge, UNIX/Linux scripting, and test data management.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and responsible automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate engineering by using AI-assisted tooling for test authoring and debugging.
• Improve QA workflows by generating tests from requirements and triaging flaky tests.
• Adopt responsible AI practices with prompts, guardrails, and productivity metrics.
