Job summary

AssetWatch seeks a QA Engineer to join a remote-first team delivering automated and manual testing for a cloud application. You will design test plans, execute tests, and build robust Playwright-based end-to-end suites in TypeScript.

Responsibilities include leveraging AI-assisted tooling, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with developers to ensure quality and coverage across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience spanning manual and automation testing for web and mobile apps.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Playwright for end-to-end tests.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across web and mobile apps.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory sessions with regression testing.
• Develop, maintain, and run automated test suites with TypeScript and Playwright.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate test authoring, maintenance, and debugging.
• Build agentic testing workflows to auto-generate scaffolding and summarize results.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and Zephyr.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and maintain test scripts and metrics.
