Job summary

Moody's Quality Engineering team seeks an automation QA engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions using TypeScript and Playwright for UI, API, integration, and regression testing within an Agile team.

You will develop reusable automation frameworks, integrate tests into GitHub Actions, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost development productivity. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure quality and coverage in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and Playwright for UI/API testing in an agile context.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows for automated tests.
• Ability to design reusable automation frameworks and manage test data.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to enhance automation productivity.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI concepts for validating AI-generated code.
• Ability to work in an Agile team with developers, engineers, and product owners.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills focused on quality.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AI concepts and ethical AI use.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions using TS/Playwright across UI/API/integration/regression testing.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and manage test data/assets.
• Use AI tools like Codex/Claude Code to boost automation productivity.
• Apply prompt/context engineering to AI tools and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Review results, maintain coverage, and support root cause analysis of failures.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to define test requirements.
• Contribute to automation standards and framework improvements.
