Job summary

Redesign Health seeks a research-driven, product-minded Director of Product Design. This senior IC role ships AI-native frontend experiences and guides product judgment with deep user understanding.

You will own all stages—from research to design to shipping a working front end with Claude tools, partnering with engineers to close the design–engineering gap. You’ll lead with craft, influence peers, and teach the organization what great AI-native design looks like, contributing reusable patterns

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and shipping software with user research ownership.
• Strong design practice across interaction, IA and product thinking.
• Reinvent workflow around AI; build front ends; comfortable with HTML/CSS and React.
• Product management instincts: set strategy, prioritize, define metrics.
• Passion for design and experience working with investors or portfolio companies (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams to understand high-judgment workflows and synthesize insights.
• Turn insights into an opinionated product view and AI-enabled design strategy.
• Architect interfaces for humans and agents; address tools, memory, and failure.
• Own the frontend end-to-end and ship interfaces with engineers.
• Define roadmaps, measure impact, and raise the design bar across the firm.
