Job summary

AHEAD is hiring a senior software engineer to lead hands-on development across greenfield and brownfield initiatives, writing production-grade code and guiding teams.

You will apply design patterns, integrate AI into SDLC, and produce architectural documents, with opportunities to contribute to pre-sales and solutioning. The role emphasizes independence, strong communication, and a commitment to security and DevSecOps in cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least two programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript or Python).
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience with security, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and production-readiness concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development across greenfield and brownfield application initiatives.
• Write, review, debug, and improve production-quality code across modern stacks.
• Guide junior consultants through code reviews, coaching, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and build AI agents judiciously.
• Extend AI into SDLC activities like story creation, requirements refinement, and engineering documentation.
• Produce architectural documents and high-level technical designs as needed.
• Support delivery teams with quality, security, testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Contribute to technical deliverables and reusable engineering assets.
• Occasionally support pre-sales, scoping, and solutioning efforts toward Principal responsibilities.
