Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant (Forward Deployed Engineer) for AI Security to lead security deployments for AI systems and enterprise environments. You will design end-to-end architectures, coordinate with security, data, and platform teams, and drive customer success in complex engagements.

The role demands 10+ years in security/AI engineering, strong cloud experience, and proven pre-sales and delivery leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security engineering or related roles with progression to principal or senior level
• Hands-on experience securing AI systems, LLM apps, or AI pipelines
• Experience deploying cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven ability to draft technical proposals, statements of work, and scoping docs
• Ability to lead cross-functional delivery with customers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical lead for deploying and operationalizing AI security solutions in customer environments
• Develop proposals, statements of work, and solution architectures that scope AI security engagements
• Translate business and AI security requirements into deployable architectures and plans
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with AI governance and platform strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor during onboarding, implementation, rollout, and optimization
• Design and implement integrations across AI platforms, registries, gateways, and security tooling
• Build cloud-native data ingestion and enrichment pipelines for AI telemetry and logs
• Develop reusable deployment patterns and assets to accelerate AI security work
• Operationalize security controls and guardrails for AI systems and agentic workflows
• Lead cross-team collaboration across engineering, security, data science, infra, and sales
