Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead (AI & Automation) to drive architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale, cloud-native PAOps applications. You will lead design, build and support of AI-powered automation, focusing on GenAI, LLMs, and RAG workflows while collaborating with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
• 2+ years in a Technical Lead, Sr Engineer, or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong Python development with modern API frameworks (FastAPI/Flask).
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.
• Proven GCP expertise and cloud-native app development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD practices, GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for architecture, development, modernization and support of PAOps applications.
• Build scalable, cloud-native solutions enabling AI-powered workflow automation and decisioning.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across teams.
• Design and implement AI/GenAI, LLM, and RAG workflows in production.
• Deliver reliable, observable systems with secure data processing and performance optimization.
