CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that advance AI-driven transformation of CVS Health applications and supporting platforms.

The engineer will contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation through testing, release, and continuous improvement—with a focus on AI-powered solutions, cloud adoption, legacy system modernization, and enterprise integration across the applications landscape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on software development in enterprise environments.
• Experience AI/ML, LLMs, prompt engineering.
• Proficiency with SQL, DB2, UNIX/Linux in large-scale settings.
• Cloud platforms experience and Windows Active Directory knowledge.
• Production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and teams to deliver enhancements and platform upgrades.
• Design, develop, test, and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Provide production support, monitor data workflows and batch jobs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
• Work across legacy IBM i and modern cloud-based technologies.
